rover activation: Carolina Beach rare grid FM13bx

N2EME Paul and N3NXH Chuck activated one of the most wanted and most expensive rare U.S. grid FM13. This is because it is direct on the ocean site and full with luxury homes.  If you look at Google maps you see it’s only a part of land most is ocean. They stay/ed) from May 07. to 18.2019 there and told the costs around 4500$. Mainly going there for the 6m contest they also brought a suitable rover EME rig with them.

Well I was looking for them and it was quit easy to work them via 2m EME. TNX Paul and Chuck for the very rare square. If you look closer on the pictures you see what “rover” does mean in the U.S. So till 18.May you still have a chance to catch them too.
